Connemara Clingfish

(Lepadogaster candolii)

This small fish can be seen hiding within the crevices of rocks. Underneath the body they have a sucker formed by the merging of the pelvic fins. This sucker allows them to anchor onto rocks. They can often be found inhabiting the same area as blennies and shannies.

Intertidal resident, benthic. -- not to much is known about this species
